In 2015, and after many years of focused work in the power and energy sector, PDP Energy was created, as a division of PDP that specializes in providing prime consulting and engineering services related to power plants, cogeneration, energy auditing, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy to further strengthen its position in these sectors.

Pierre Dammous

With 40 years of experience in Building Services Engineering, Pierre Dammous is a final reference of his specialty in the Middle East. Moving between Beirut, Amman and Paris with major consultants handling prestigious projects, he finally started his own practice in Beirut in 1978.
Pierre Dammous has been actively contributing to the advancement of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in the construction industry, first in Lebanon then in the region, running a constantly growing consulting practice and attracting talents to his office. Thousands of projects witnessed his determination to serve highly demanding clients in different challenging environments.

Antoine Dammous

Antoine Dammous joined PDP in 1991 as a mechanical engineer. He led the mechanical engineering team in many major projects; first in Lebanon then extended to the region and beyond, establishing procedures and setting tools for an effective service. This concluded to the Quality System Accreditation in 1999. Antoine managed the electrical and mechanical design team for major projects, and remained academically active through the University of Reading in the UK.
In 2005 he established PDP Dubai branch, and in 2008 Abu Dhabi branch. He continues to direct the projects undertaken, and expanding the practice. Antoine is a LEED GA.
EDUCATION:
BEng. Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
MEng. Management from the American University of Beirut.
MSc. Intelligent Buildings from the University of Reading, UK.

Philippe Nassar

Philippe Nassar has more than 31 years of experience in the power and energy sectors. He started his career as a field engineer in the construction of power plants, and then held during a six year period several positions in site management. Following his MBA, he worked for two years in a prime consulting firm in Paris within the energy practice during the deregulation period of the European electricity market.
Philippe’s knowledge in all power plant aspects stems from the positions he held over the last fifteen years. He was a project manager on various EPC power plant projects in the Middle East and Africa, covering all project phases from concept and feasibility, to detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. In his career, Philippe covered several types of plants such as combined cycle power plants (Deir Amar, 450 MW, Lebanon), reciprocating HFO (Al Hurriya PP1, 64MW, Iraq), and landfill gas power plants (Neemeh 7 MW, Lebanon). In 2015 Philippe joined and co-founded PDP Energy.

BEng. Mechanical Engineering (minor in Energy) from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada.
MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, Netherlands.

Elie Siam

Elie Siam joined PDP in 1994 as a design engineer. After multiple successes he led the team for resolving Mission Critical facilities problems and proved to be a local authority in the Electrical Engineering field.
He is an active contributor to Lebanese Standards, and a Building Services Instructor at Notre Dame University. He has special qualifications in telecommunications and data networks, and has established highly performing systems for large banks (BLOM, Credit Libanais, SGBL, SGBJ, Fransabank, BLC, CSC, BBAC and LCB), schools and universities (LAU, Balamand and ACS), Telecom (Saudi Telecom Company, Cellis, IDM and Alfa) and leading media companies (Annahar, VTR and Bloomberg). Elie is an Accredited Tier Designer from the Uptime Institute.
EDUCATION:
BEng. Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

Joseph El Hachem

Joseph El Hachem is heading the engineering department at PDP Energy. He has a vast experience in the power and oil industry design and engineering field.
Joseph spent the first five years of his career in the construction field in a variety of power projects. In 2007, he moved into engineering design where he held engineering supervisory roles. As a chief engineer of a major EPC power plant supplier, he managed the performance of a team of 40 mechanical, electrical, process, systems engineers and designers. He delivered the design of tens of successful projects. In 2015 Joseph joined and co-founded PDP Energy.

DEA in Industrial Control, Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France.
Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Lebanese University, Lebanon.
